blackfish part II.

After hearing both sides of the argument,I do have to agree with Sea World. The evidence the trainer brought up seems undeniable. It was just freak accidents ,to be honest. He even caught blackfish piecing clips together to seem like it was caused by whales. It makes kids feel happy. No injuries have happened in the last years since Dawn. I’m on Sea World’s side.

blackfish part I.

Tilikum is a whale from Sea World in Orlando,Florida. He was captured in 1988, as a child Orca. He soon was transported to Sea World, a year later. He would cause lots of havoc during his years. He died on January 6,2017 due to bacterial infection. 4 people have died at Sea World, 3 people killed by Tilikum.

Enter Keltie Byrne. A 21 year old marine biology student and a competitive swimmer. He was working part time with a trainer. February 20,1991. Keltie slipped into the pool, which had Tilikum in it. He started to be attacked by the orcas, multiple orcas. She had been tossed around by them and submerged into the water. She died due to drowning. Her body was recovered hours later.

July 6,1999. Daniel P. Dukes was found on top of Tilikum’s back. He was dead, wounded, and covered in blood. This was actually the most mysterious death of them all, because nobody knows really what happened. He had no alcohol or drugs in his system. The main theory is that he stayed overnight, slipped in Tilikum’s sleeping tank, Tilikum woke up and pulled him into the pool, where he was attacked and drowned.

Now, the most infamous death from them all. During a show, Dawn Brancheau was killed by him live. She was doing a act when Tilikum pulled her by her ponytail into the pool. There he submerged her in the water, drowning.

I think that Sea World is a fun and good place. But they should not have orcas. They have killed people.
